“For weeks I debated joining Suzanna’s 12-week fall into fitness challenge because I never ever trained with her before. I had been overweight the last four years, but hearing the news of high blood pressure from my Doctor gave me the spark to join on the very last day.

I started at 156.9 pounds with a lot of fat around my waist...for a 5’2” stature, it was not cute nor healthy looking. At first contact, Suzanna was very welcoming and took the time to listen to each of our individual goals. I was not an early bird until Suzanna pushed me to get my workout in at 5:40 a.m. through her wake up texts. She held me accountable and constantly pushed me to surpass my personal best and crush the limitations my mind had created.

She provided meal plans and offered unlimited group workout sessions...tools to lead us to successfully reach our goals. She had a little competition to keep all of us motivated. I lost 10 pounds in 4 weeks, but gained some self-confidence that I lost after the weight gain.

Weeks 5-12 went by pretty quick. I saw changes in other women in the challenge. I started seeing definition in my arms and thighs..wow...I impressed myself. I started deadlifts later in the challenge. In the final 4 weeks, I went up to 225 lbs. I felt like a BEAST. Growing up I never wanted to be “muscular”...it was too masculine-looking. My mind changed. Now, I see it as a sign of strength.

At the end of 12 weeks, I weighed in at 139...17 pounds lost, but an immeasurable amount of confidence gained. I went from wearing a solid size 10/large to 4-6/medium. I never thought I would fit in small jeans I was ready to give away. I felt amazing. Even better, my blood pressure is normal.

I owe Suzanna my success and for getting me to the healthier version of me. The challenge had inspired me to continue to stay active and conscious of my eating habits. She has given me tools I can use for life.“
